C-HUB is a futuristic career information centre for all information seekers. We tackle futuristic technologies such as artificial intelligence Virtual reality, Augmented reality and Robotics. We live in a world of too much information and too little context. Too much noise and too little insight. And so C-HUB moulds students through futuristic technologies and every else that matters.
C-Hub is an initiative that is innovative in itself. This career information center follows a unique approach in providing proper career guidance to the students. Here, students gain a better understanding of which career they should choose. To reach that conclusion, students are made to appear in career assessment tests, career workshops and mentoring sessions. Furthermore, futuristic tools such as AI and AR/VR are deployed to help students as well as their parents in making the most important decision of life related to the career option
Story of the inception of C-Hub
Almost every Indian student faces a dilemma when it comes to choosing an ideal career path. Most of the students tend to go with the flow rather than realizing their dream career and then forging towards it. It’s basically due to a lack of proper career guidance and detailed career planning. This is where C-Hub steps in. It helps students to gain an understanding of their potential and to choose a career path accordingly. Mr. Shamveel laid the foundation of C-Hub with an endeavor to guide students in choosing the ideal career path. He envisioned the platform after getting inspired by his career struggles and journey. He believes that right career planning is a crucial part of a student’s life. So, he founded C-Hub to lend a helping hand to the youth. Magician/motivational speaker Mr. Gopinath Muthukad inaugurated the brick-and-mortar setup of C-Hub, which allowed it to gain momentum right from the first day.
Ever since its inception, C-Hub has attracted multitudes of young students and their parents. The major attraction of C-Hub is the studio room allocated for career counseling. In this room, there is a projector whereby both the students, as well as their parents, can visualize different career options and opt for the most suitable one. This unique concept led to the speedy success of C-Hub. However, success and recognition were short-lived.
Challenges faced by C-Hub
C-Hub was gradually gaining popularity in Kerala. However, it faced a major backlash in March owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. When the lockdown was imposed in the entire nation on 22nd March, C-Hub had to shut down its office. This brought a sudden halt in its operations. However, the founder, Mr. Shamveel was not ready to let his efforts of putting together C-Hub go in vain. He didn’t want to lose the reputation and trust that C-Hub gained and at the same time, he didn’t want to drop the momentum. He wanted to explore the possibilities of going digital and that’s why he turned to Edumia for assistance in this regard.
What Edumia did to aid C-Hub in digital transformation?
Despite our busy schedule and engaged workforces (as we are busy migrating colleges and schools to digital platforms), we went extra miles to help Mr. Shamveel as his unique concept caught our attention. Our team overworked to create a bespoke application for C-Hub which serves as a career guidance and counseling system. We started by developing different modules. Furthermore, we added different functionalities and features to the app, such that it serves as an all-in-one career planning and guidance platform. With this app, C-Hub was able to offer all its services online and connect better with students.

- The C-Hub team got free from redundant tasks so they could work on new developments
- In addition to guidance, additional resources are also at the disposal of students
- By virtue of the app, the students can utilize the pandemic phase constructively by learning and exploring
- It gave students the opportunity to interact with the experts and participate in live discussions
