The Educare project brought a group of government schools onto one system, replacing manual record-keeping and closing the transparency gap between school and home.
The dominant problem was transparency: parents, teachers, students and management were not working from the same information, and parents missed important updates about their children. Alongside that, managing examinations and reporting was tedious even where online examinations were possible, co-ordinating several schools under one administration was the biggest hurdle for the governing bodies, and recording and tracking school data consumed time across every department.
Under the Educare project, Edumia was implemented across the group of government schools, putting records, examinations and reporting on one system and giving parents direct visibility of their child's progress.
Multiple schools under one administration could be managed from one place, and the time departments spent recording and re-recording data was freed up.
