Privacy notice
What this website collects, what it does not, and what happens to an enquiry after you send it.
What this website collects
This website collects personal information in exactly one place: the demo or contact form. The fields are your name, email address, telephone number, institution name, country, the number of students at the institution, the modules you are interested in, and your message. If you do not submit that form, this website collects nothing about you.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own and creates no session for you. There is no advertising pixel, no social media tracker, and no third-party analytics script running on it. Because nothing here tracks you, there is no cookie banner, and there is nothing to consent to.
What happens to your enquiry
A submitted enquiry is written to Edumia's own database and a reference is generated for it. It is then sent by email to care@edumia.net so the team can respond. The enquiry is stored before the email is attempted, so a mail failure cannot lose it. Answers given here are used to reply to you and to prepare a demonstration — not sold, and not shared with anyone for their own marketing.
This website and student data are separate
Edumia is a multi-tenant platform, but this website is not part of it. This website holds no student records, no staff records, no marks and no fee data, and its database is not connected to any institution's account. Student information lives in the ERP system governed by the agreement the institution signs there. Nothing typed into this website's contact form reaches an institution's tenant.
How long enquiries are kept not drafted
Placeholder, pending legal review. This clause must cover:
A retention period for enquiry records — how long, and what triggers deletion. The database stores them indefinitely today. This needs a stated period before the notice can be published.
Your rights and how to exercise them not drafted
Placeholder, pending legal review. This clause must cover:
The access, correction, erasure and grievance rights to be offered, the response time promised, and the contact — including the Data Protection Officer or grievance officer the DPDP Act requires a data fiduciary to publish. A generic care@edumia.net address may not be sufficient on its own.
Where data is stored and who processes it not drafted
Placeholder, pending legal review. This clause must cover:
The hosting location for the enquiry database and the mail path, plus the list of sub-processors (host, mail provider, anything else that touches an enquiry). If Edumia markets on data residency in India or the Gulf, this clause is where that claim is made specific — and it should match what the infrastructure actually does.
